tfconnect is an independently run talent consultancy, specialising in the exhibition and conference sector. We are recognised for our expertise in delivering exceptional talent to the global events industry – from entry-level to senior executives!
We are looking for a talented recruiter with a proven track record in managing talent and meeting revenue targets, whilst putting clients and candidates first.
The role will involve working closely with other consultants and resourcers to attract and match events professionals with new opportunities at events businesses around the globe.
The role will involve:- Search and selection – including meeting and evaluating a range of event professionals in senior executive positions internationally up to MD & CEO level, with salaries that range from £40,000 – £250,000
- Candidate care; maintaining contact, consulting, interview prep and general career advice
- Supporting partners in employee engagement and HR best practices group
- Fully researching and understanding the needs of companies within the global events industry in order to establish great matches
- Business Development - nurturing and developing new and existing client relationships
- Negotiating client fees, including contingency, commitment and retainer fees
- Account management – responsible for putting together proposals, presentations, and retrieving signed terms of business
- Networking at industry events, including conferences, exhibitions and awards ceremonies to bring in new business and source top candidates in the industry
- Writing ‘winning’ candidate synopses and giving detailed and constructive feedback to both candidates and clients in order to move processes forward
- Resourcing candidates using internal database, industry network, external searches and head-hunting techniques
- Scoping new roles including identifying referrers within industry network and internationally
Ultimately, you’ll need to be commercially driven and highly organised with a knack for uncovering and grabbing opportunities.
We’re also looking for the following:- A well-established track record as a recruiter. You’ll need to be a skilled recruiter with a balanced skillset across search, evaluation matching and process management sensibilities.
- Proven success within a commercial / sales capacity. You’ll need to be a driven salesperson and remain focussed on long-term sales goals, while always putting clients and candidates at the centre of everything you do.
- Proven ability to not only organise yourself but to build your own strategy. You’ll always need to know where your next success is coming from.
- Unshakeable attention to detail, pride and belief in what the tfconnect brand stands for.
