We are working with a global events organiser who seeks an experienced Head of Conference Content to work across a portfolio of technology based events, to expand their market leading position in live events and digital.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a strategic Content Director who enjoys being close to a fast paced environment. Working closely with the MD and as part of the senior management team, you will build relationships with leaders in the field and invite speakers to present across two large content driven events. As a team, you will be acquiring up to 400 speakers a year, across multi formatted events, including two large scale events and many smaller, round table style events and webinars.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead market & customer research
- Propose and receive new content ideas based on a deep understanding of the markets and target audiences, working with thought leaders and experts across the UK and globally.
- Define and own the content strategy for the business
- Design and develop cutting edge content formats that will attract, engage and inspire audiences.
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with organisations and key stakeholders.
- Create commercially attractive programmes for sponsors
- Work with marketing to produce high quality content marketing
- Manage team resources and plan the annual production schedule
- Educate the team and the industry on the latest news and market forecasts
- Engage with key industry stakeholders to manage credibility and perception in the industry
- Play a leading role in growing the business

- Experience
You will need extensive conference production experience from a tech background
You will be confident in speaking to both C Level strategic leaders and more technical teams.
You will be commercially strong with a firm grasp of what creates a financially successful event product.
