- Description
- You will be selling high value event sponsorship. The successful candidate will join our London based business development team, selling high value packages to blue chip clients across our portfolio. The role will be to sell by telephone and face-to-face; it will require some international travel to attend events and client meetings.
You will be responsible for:
Selling to blue chip clients on market leading events and marketing solutions
Targeting clients, initially creating interest through your telephone sales skills before meeting them face to face or following up to close the deal
Conversing and negotiating confidently and successfully with senior decision makers in the telecom and media industries
Working with the team to launch exciting new projects and formats
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Outstanding communication skills
Be a strong team player and sales leader
Able to source new business from competitors, events, and internet
To maintain and grow new and existing business from both direct clients and agencies
Achieve call and meeting targets
Fulfil the whole cycle of the sell from the sourcing to client liaison
Ability to meet deadlines
