Our client is a fantastic company who are a team of individuals who design and deliver awesome Tech Conferences and practical Training Conferences.
The Role:
The remit of this role is to support the Head of Business Development and wider sponsorship team in generating and developing sponsorship sales revenue with both new and existing sponsors and partners on an international basis.
What you’ll be doing:
- Exceed agreed revenue targets for events across personal portfolio
- Research, identify and close new business
- Lead generation including prospecting on the phone, email and social media
- Maximize revenue generation from both new and existing sponsors
- Understand and confidently use value propositions for each event
- Strengthen relations with existing clients and senior key decision makers, maintaining a focus on forward-selling
Key Requirements:
- A confident, pro-active relationship builder with strong commercial acumen
- Ability to deliver considered and articulate proposals based on sales briefs
- Able to demonstrate effect B2B sales techniques applying a need/solution-based sales approach
- Ability to generate own leads and build a pipeline
- Comfortable dealing with senior level decision makers and influencers
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly, logically and persuasively
