As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of a comprehensive B2B and B2C marketing strategy across two UK events. The role is a commercial one in which partner marketing, social media and promotion plays a major part. As a high-end specialist event organiser, we generate audience revenues through traditional attendance and hospitality streams. Optimising these channels is an imperative in 2020 alongside the development of long-term relationships with key influencers.
Core Functions
Creative
- Working in partnership with external designers & specialists management of all brand/event collateral Inc. but not limited to websites/sales and owner brochures/tickets/wallets/advertising/catalogues/invitations/badges/passes/digital media
Operational
- Budget management
- Management of all print associated with the events
- Management of key supplier relationships
Audience
- Data management/growth strategy and development plan
- Driving growth in paying attendance / growth in yield
- Generating growth in guest attendance through partner promotion/advertising etc.
- Creation of event comms plan focussing on digital: social media/newsletters etc
Owner
- Data & community management
- Growth strategy and development plan
- Development of effective communications strategy/platform and plan
Commercial
- Commercial lead generation
- Data management/growth strategy
- Marketing support plan for all commercial activity
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Track record in B2C Marketing with experience in an events background.
- Understanding of the luxury goods market or high-end automotive marketplace
- Energetic, adaptable and resilient.
- Works well on own initiative but also a strong team player
- Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills; capacity to interact at all levels.
- Very strong digital marketing experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
