Our client is looking to bring in an experienced Account Manger to join their business. You will be working as part of an established team across an exciting new portfolio of exhibitions and conferences globally. You will be responsible for selling exhibition space and sponsorships for your own territory. Territory splits are organised by country and so there will be a significant amount of travel involved. You will be an experienced tele, email and face-to-face sales person who has strong account management skills as well as brilliant new business development ability.
Specific responsibilities:
- Bringing in new business by sourcing own leads and developing existing accounts with up-selling through telesales and face-to-face selling.
- To sell against agreed targets
- To provide excellent customer service & after sales care
- To gain increased knowledge of the printing industry client base for the benefit of the Company
- To accurately maintain the sales database
- Sales administration
- To be able to sell internationally and capable of selling to mixed cultures.
- Some international sales travel will be necessary
- Maintain strong customer relationships
Skills and abilities:
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience, 5 years preferable
- Ability to use own initiative
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Team player
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Articulate, professional and well presented
- Strong presentation skills
- Good attention to detail
- Willing to travel
- Familiar with CRM and Microsoft Suite
- Additional languages spoken outside English would be an advantage
