Three critical requirements
- Successful track record of exhibition and sponsorship sales on large scale live events using a consultative sales approach
- High volume new business development

What we require (knowledge, competencies, qualifications and skills of applicant)
- Proven track record in exhibition and sponsorship sales on large scale events, either conferences and/or exhibitions, ideally in a B2B environment
- Solutions-based consultative sales approach
- Experienced at key account management and dealing with senior-level clients
- Strong people management skills with a minimum of three years’ sales management experience - someone who enjoys setting his/her team up for success
- Ability to write and present bespoke client proposals
- Excellent presentation and communication skills – written and verbal
- Ability to listen actively and draw intelligent conclusions
- Enthusiastic, ambitious, pro-active, resilient
- Strong team player
- Ability to work to deadlines
- An interest in developing market/product knowledge and using that knowledge to generate sustainable revenue streams
- Rapport building - develop strong internal and external relationships
- Excellent administration and pipeline management using Salesforce CRM to manage sales outcomes; competence in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Adaptability and flexibility

- Successfully achieve personal targets
- Develop and manage existing key accounts, retaining and growing their involvement with the show
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the utilities portfolio to deliver creative and ambitious client solutions
- Generation of new business from targeted business categories
- Exemplary sales administration and pipeline management through Salesforce CRM
- Active input into the strategic development of the exhibition
- Assist the Event Director in achieving a successful event in whatever way necessary
