Are you an experienced Senior Marketing Executive or Marketing Manager, preferably with a proven track record in B2B events? Are you confident that you can add vision and in-depth knowledge to an already successful show?
Our client delivers an international B2B exhibition and awards, bringing together key industry experts and players. An opportunity has arisen for an innovative marketer to join its highly successful team in its mission to become a world leader in organising events for niche markets.
The successful candidate will constantly look for improvement opportunities to deliver an increase in visitor numbers year on year and will actively seek out key industry topics and trends.
Key accountabilities:
- Marketing: Planning, controlling and realising all marketing activity – targets, strategies and marketing mix. Monitoring KPIs and controlling marketing budget. Overseeing data collection development, statistical analysis, conference management, registration and branding of the shows.
- Customer focus: Identifying, meeting and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the market, including media partners, associations and accounts, to ensure the highest levels of service are delivered. Considering customer needs in day-to-day decisions.
- Project management: Heading one or more projects in complex technical areas. Solving problems, usually of a tactical nature, and generating innovative solutions. Constantly looking for improvement opportunities.
- Social Media Marketing – Develop content with a strong social media understanding
Essential skills and attributes:
- Track record in Marketing with experience in an Events background.
- Energetic, adaptable and resilient.
- Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills; capacity to interact at all levels.
- Strong, flexible team player with excellent coaching skills.
- Natural authority; experienced in leading people.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
