We are searching for a Senior Commercial Sales Executive who can demonstrate a commercial acumen with a hunger to smash sales targets. You will be responsible for hunting new business managing key accounts and delivering revenue.

The Skills
- Knowledge and experience of using different commercial processes and techniques to sell stand space and sponsorship
- Knowledge and experience of writing effective sponsorship proposals
- Ability to write and develop a comprehensive commercial plan
- Excellent understanding of what it takes to deliver a successful commercial marketing campaign
- Experience of writing effective and engaging content as part of the commercial marketing campaign
- Laser focus on achieving goals and driving commercial success
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Self-motivation, tenacious, high-energy, consultative yet persuasive, and results-oriented
- Launch /relaunch experience desirable
The Role
- Sell exhibition space and sponsorship to both previous and new customers/partners over the telephone and face to face
- Generate new key account business and rebuild relationships with lapsed accounts
- Manage and maximise revenue from existing key accounts through building and developing close and longstanding relationships
- Responsible for accurate and timely floorplan management as well as ensuring CRM is always up to date
- Create, develop and execute a commercial plan in the off-year, in collaboration with the Head of Sales
- Stay abreast of product development landscape to identify evolving trends, best practices and opportunities
- Ensure that all KPIs are achieved
- Work closely with show team including Head of Sales, Portfolio Director, Operations, Marketing and project co-ordinators to jointly develop the event as well as setting the best possible example to junior members of the sales team.
A week in the life of a Senior Commercial Executive…
- Generate stand and sponsorship revenue mainly over the phone however face to face is encouraged
- Work closely with the event team, including the Portfolio Director, Marketing Manager and Head of Sales
- Attend industry networking and social events to learn more about the communities we serve as well as visit competitive events, meeting existing customers and prospecting for new business
- Accurate and timely commercial reporting
