- Description
- A high-profile and well-respected not-for-profit organisation based in New York seeks a Manager, Business Systems to work closely to support the Director of Content and Programming and sponsorship team. Working directly with members of the executive leadership team you will co-ordinate all aspects of event and conference programming.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in building advisory boards for eight major conferences in the U.S. and U.K.
- Speaker recruitment and developing relevant, high impact and innovative program content and relevant research.
- Investor database maintenance of current and prospective speakers and advisory board members.
- Assist in development of key stakeholder/member/speaker relationships and focus on audience development
- Co-ordinate speaker registrations and panel preparation for selected conference panel participants and keynote speakers.
- Experience
- A minimum of 4 years of programming, marketing and/or communications experience, preferably within the financial services or private sector.
- Experience in supporting the development and execution of programming for events focused on the financial services space.
- Excellent knowledge of the latest communication channels and trends (social media, interactive portals, etc). and tactics for effective use of each.
- CRM management experience.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in finance, journalism or a related discipline is desirable.
