- An exciting opportunity to join a leading international exhibition organiser, and make your mark on the launch of a large-scale exhibition with global potential.
Reporting into the Exhibition Manager, your role will be focused on driving new business and growing the event year-on-year through the effective development and management of your own sales pipeline.
You will be a versatile thinker with an ability to research the sectors that the event serves and identify leads and decision makers. You will be experienced in building your own client base by researching, cold-calling and building new business leads to convert.
Working closely with the Exhibition Manager, you will have input into the overall sales strategy of the event with genuine opportunities to develop and take on more responsibility and new opportunities.
Working in events, you will be a natural multitasker who thrives under pressure and enjoys working as part of a dynamic sales team with set targets.
Key Tasks Responsibilities: • Exhibition booth, sponsorship, advertising and digital sales • Effective and timely upkeep of the Salesforce CRM systems and related internal company communication • Market research, monitoring of competitor events, attending competitor events. • Prospect database management and development • Effective collaboration with key event team members including across Marketing, Operation, Conference Production, Tech and Data departments to deliver the show to its full potential
- Qualifications
- Key Experience / Attributes: • 1+ years B2B sales experience
The ability to develop and grow strong relationships with a wide range of organisations at a senior level
A target-driven approach, being highly motivated with a proven track record in sales
Excellent questioning and closing skills
A good commercial understanding of exhibitions, conferences, and digital opportunities
Full IT literacy and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
Good prioritization, time management and organizational skills
A positive team-focused attitude
