- A large international exhibition organiser based in London, seeks to fill a Senior Marketing role across a portfolio of international trade shows. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to interpret and analyse data in order to lead the brand strategy and oversee marketing campaigns that deliver at all levels.
As an excellent people manager, you will develop the marketing team members to be the best they can be and make sure that they are equipped with the means to be the best from technology to suppliers, coaching and mentoring the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to project development and influence strategic planning and investment decisions
Lead the integration and adoption of company business tools and systems and continuously assess their deployment to improve marketing effectiveness
Identify areas of growth and/or missing revenues from current business
Support the Portfolio Directors with market knowledge for organic growth and acquisitions
Deep knowledge and experience of evaluating and selecting marketing channels, particularly digital
Accountability of marketing communications to ensure quality, message and individual brand values are maintained and conversions are optimised
Drive audience growth, visitor numbers, delegate revenue and overall customer satisfaction (NPS) for the events and the digital platform
Map the size of the market for each event, identify data gaps and devise data build plans that ensure the database represents the entire market
Work closely with the Commercial Director to ensure that the sales team has a pool of qualified leads to target - Experience
- Extensive experience in exhibition or conference marketing from an exhibition organiser or commercial conference company
Strong leadership skills
Experience of using CRM/Marketing automation tools
Commercially focused
P&L Management and forecasting
Excellent stakeholder management skills
