- Our Client is seeking a Commercial Executive to join the growing sales team to:
Sell exhibition space and sponsorship to both previous and new customers/partners over the telephone and face-to-face
Generate new business and rebuild relationships with lapsed accounts
Support the Event Manager with accurate and timely floorplan management, forecasting and ensuring CRM is always up to date
Work closely with the show team, including Operations, Marketing and Project Coordinators to jointly develop the event
Attend trade shows, supporting the onsite team and assisting with rebook
Attend industry networking events and competitor events to identify commercial opportunities, gain industry feedback as well as increasing sector knowledge
Ensure that all KPIs are achieved
- Experience
- No prior sales or events experience is required however, the ideal candidate will be confident picking up the phone, have a strong work ethic and good attention to detail.
You will be ready to learn and develop your skills whilst working within a talented and highly ambitious sales team.
Most importantly, a passion for the food, drink & hospitality sector and a desire to really get to know your clients and the events you’ll be representing.
