- Description
The Marketing Manager will help deliver the global marketing strategy and connect our global community. The ideal candidate must be fluent in German and expected to have 4+ years marketing experience, strong commercial acumen and solid relationship management experience having worked with top tier clients in the past. They will be working closely with internal marketing teams on digital campaign elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Help deliver the global marketing strategy, aligned to our strategic and commercial goals
- Develop and execute tactical marketing plans based on commercial and customer insight to achieve revenue and goals for online and live events
- Manage the PR strategy, and the relationship with the PR agency & media partners as agreed with the Head of Marketing to hit metrics and output
- Support in content creation – assigning ownership from ideation through to design and delivery while underpinned by targeted messaging
- Responsible for designing marketing materials for use at major industry events and ensuring all material is prepared and maintained
- Work closely with the internal marketing team to action digital campaigns
- Write and proof-read copy in close cooperation with stakeholders (German & English)
- Drive customer focus and a culture of customer centricity across the team, ensuring all plans are underpinned by an understanding of customer needs, and market dynamics
- Manage processes to increase efficiencies and effectiveness
- Working with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders
- Review campaign activity, spend and results to optimise or remediate where needed
- Provide reporting of KPI and activity performance as required
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing on ad-hoc projects/campaigns
- Experience
- Person Specification Experience & Knowledge - Essential Fluent in German (written and spoken) 4+ years previous marketing experience Able to translate marketing strategy into actionable and audience-focused marketing plans Copywriting experience Experience & Knowledge – Desirable Experience in the events industry a plus Experience of working with international teams Personal Qualities - Essential A passion for marketing and understanding customer needs Highly organised and with an eye for detail Enthusiastic team player who can work collaboratively in an international environment Strong time management and organisational skills Creative nature that will result in fresh ideas being brought to the table
