This is an opportunity to work for a new business, helping with an exciting start up within the events industry.
Our client is a small private equity backed exhibition business who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join them on a permanent basis in their offices in London. As the business grows the role will develop and the aim will be for the individual to have a much wider responsibility and more direct reports.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the management of the finance function together with the CFO and will also be a business partner to the London events and management.
What youll be doing:
- Prepare the first draft of the annual budget and subsequent re-forecasts
- Prepare monthly actuals and variance analysis against budget and forecasts with the assistance of the Management Accountant in Bristol
- Stand in for the CFO when he is absent
- Be the general finance business partner in London
Key Requirements:
- Qualified or part qualified accountant (CiMA, ACA or ACCA);
- Through knowledge of accounting principles, systems and procedures
- Good communicator as the role will require a certain level of 'education' of events directors
- Previous experience of managing a team
